Menopause in the Swiss Workplace:
LISTENING TO THE EXPERIENCES
BEHIND THE DATA.

independent research
This report is independently led and self-funded because we believe conversations around menopause should be shaped by evidence, trust, and lived experience, not commercial agendas.
Now in its third edition, 'Menopause in the Swiss Workplace' is one of Switzerland's largest independent workplace menopause studies.
By combining anonymous lived experience with quantitative findings, it aims to help organisations move beyond awareness towards greater understanding and evidence-informed action.
Whether you work in HR, lead a team, shape organisational culture, or simply want to better understand menopause, we hope these findings encourage more informed conversations and better decisions.
What you'll find inside:
Understanding the workplace experience:
Explore the prevalence of menopause, the symptoms respondents experienced, and how these affected confidence, work performance and career decisions.
The voices behind the data:
Anonymous lived experience brings the findings to life, revealing the everyday realities, challenges and moments that statistics alone cannot capture.
A closer look at HRT:
For the first time, this edition compares the experiences of respondents taking HRT with those who are not, exploring differences in symptoms, confidence, awareness and workplace experiences.

sharing this research
This report is published under a Creative Commons licence because we believe conversations around menopause should be informed by evidence and accessible to everyone.
You’re welcome to share it freely with colleagues and organisations, provided it remains unchanged, is properly attributed, and isn’t used commercially. If these findings help start one more informed conversation about menopause at work, then they’ve already served their purpose.
Continuing the Conversation
Changing workplace culture rarely happens through a single report. It happens through curiosity, listening, and conversations that people feel safe enough to have. We hope these findings help start a few more of them.
